I don't know about you but....
I don't want a refrigerator to tell me when I'm running out of something or when a perishable is reaching its freshness date. I don't want a kitchen appliance to automatically order my groceries. What are we coming to? Are we so lazy a society that we cannot smell the milk? I think that some visions of future technology are a little overboard. Don’t get me wrong…I like toys, gadgets and technology more than the next person. I get goose-bumps when I smell the plasticy aroma of a newly opened electronic gizmo. BUT our brains will shrink to the size of walnuts if we continue with this trend of letting computers do all our thinking.
