Apple introduces iPhone | Business News | Reuters.com: "Jobs also said that AppleTV, the device that allows users to stream movies, music, photos, podcasts and TV shows to their home entertainment systems, would ship in February. The 40 gigabyte machine will cost $299, the same price Jobs forecast back in September."
Sounds like it is set to directly compete with the XBOX 360 and its robust Windows Media Center Extender functionality.
Like lending to a friend, with interest | CNET News.com: "Prosper's users lend money to and borrow money from other people on the site at what the company says are better interest rates than those available through traditional financial institutions and without some of the risk that comes from typical person-to-person loans."
I normally don't blog on subjects such as this, but the fact that the family of the deceased is suing the restaurant is a blaring example of the sorry, stinking mess that is the American legal system. If you're so freaking fragile that you can't even turn your head, then I think you just need to stay home in bed for Christ's sake.
I still really don't like Apple, but I sure love the Video iPod I recently purchased. Call me a hypocrite..whatever. I connected it to a TV last night and although the video quality is not what I was hoping for, it is tolerable. It is great to be ble to download TV shows I have missed for $1.99 each and watch them on my big screen.
Additionally, iTunes Podcast implementation is the best I have seen. Tiki Bar is a hilarious video podcast and some of the World of Warcraft podcasts are worth mentioning as well: TavernCast and World of Warcast.
My New Year's Resolution is to post more often. My ten adoring fans (I know, impressive huh?) would appreciate that...not that my post are all that informative, or anything more than a quick quip or blabber about something.
On a positive note, it looks like Google fixed the "Blog This Now" feature in the Firefox Google Toolbar. Now that it's more convenient, maybe I'll post more often.
