Microsoft's browser play
"Purveyors and consumers of Web content and software, already unsettled by the peace pact between former arch rivals Microsoft and AOL Time Warner, may be in store for an even more radical upset with Microsoft's stated plans to eliminate standalone versions of its Internet Explorer browser."
How is this any different than Lexus offering a standard feature in an automobile that vendors sell individually? If satellite navigation (GPS) becomes a standard feature, obviously Garmin is at risk to loose some sales. I do not believe however that Lexus should be to blame for this. It's all in the name of competition.
