"Al Gore, the former U.S. vice president, picked up the most votes from investors in the election of Apple Computer's board of directors, according to the company's quarterly filing Tuesday with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Gore received 286.3 million votes, whereas Apple founder and CEO Steve Jobs garnered only 244.4 million votes."
